I am Sonia Dumitrescu. My origines are from Romania, I was born on the 31.12.1993 in Luxembourg and raised there until 2014. Through my teenage years, I gathered experience in painting at Ecole d'Art Contemporain. Then I did a Bachelor's and a Master's degree at Institut Supérieur des arts de Toulouse in France. During these studies, I also did an Erasmus at Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma in Italy. Besides my studies, I’ve been half my life into introspection, the process of creation and the research of what is beyond the material. I use my artistic work, my physical practice and my spirituality as mediums to do this. Along the way, I’ve been following my interests through travelling, self-education and various certified trainings. Since 2021, I’ve been working as an art teacher and freelancer. I am based in Luxemburg but I am mostly in movement abroad.
